Gettysburg PA, Nov 19, 1863

It was a warm afternoon, quite and sober were the words of President Abraham Lincoln. Very contradictive of a once bloodied battlefield, no longer do the sounds of muskets and cannons echo these lands. Rather a sound resolve was heard, to dedicate the lives of the dead as well as the living, to the future of this great nation. Lincoln’s words evoked great feelings in all 15,000 countryman, we were stirred in our minds as well as our hearts to push forward as one nation, to a "new birth of freedom", that we remember always our dead did not die in vain. Gettysburg will forever be dedicated as a cemetery and yet consecrated to the living as a reminder of the constant struggle to ensure that "government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not parish from the earth." So as to bring equality to all walks of life and all citizens. Lincoln latter stated that he was very much inspired in his words, and guided to further bring us as one nation under God.

Nice work!! It is so hard to write a story and include all of the details, but you did a really good job!

Good story, it would help if you could break it up, so it was easier to read and maybe make it longer
