Restaurant was torched after a grease fire got out of control!

Pedro’s Mexican Restaurant was on the corner of Washington and 21st in down town Ogden.
The owner of the building, Rachel Calhoun has owned the building for some time now, and yet had no comment as to the cause of the fire, or plans in the future.
Pedro Sanchez the owner of the Restaurant has been in the U.S for two years. He was in the Kitchen at the time of the accident. When the grease fire started, Pedro said, “I tried to put the flames out with a fire extinguisher but couldn’t, so I screamed and ran out the building.” “I was so scared.”
Michael Freeman a regular at Pedro’s Restaurant said he saw smoke and heard screaming coming from the kitchen so he ran out and dialed 911.
Deputy Fire Chief Greg Chamberlain arrived shortly after 2:00pm the fire was quick and easy to put out. “We had the fire out in under ten minutes.” Their were no fatalities and it’s a miracle that no one got hurt.
